About the event

Join the Rabbi from 12-1 on November 6, 13, 20, and December 4, 11, and 18, for an introduction to the practice of Mussar.

Defined as moral conduct or discipline, first developed in the early 19 th century in Lithuania, Mussar is a way to develop greater holiness by growing our inner virtues. Called middot, examples of some virtues include humility, gratitude, and compassion. Mussar provides a springboard for focused self-reflection through study and action.

The text being used is entitled, “Everyday Holiness: The Jewish Spiritual Path of Mussar” by Alan Morinis.
